Paradoxical truths

 The Church teaches each generation the truths of the Gospel, paradoxical truths in the ears of the world, because it is a sinful world that thinks the opposite and walks aimlessly. The Church continues contradicting the optimism of the satisfied as well as the pessimism of the restless; It asserts sovereignty of one Lord above all the powers of the earth; proclaims the truth against error and falsehood, justice against selfishness and greed, love against hate and violence, and also trust in God against all discouragements.


  L'Església ensenya a cada generació les veritats de l'Evangeli, veritats paradoxals a les orelles del món, perquè és un món pecador que pensa al revés i camina sense rumb. L'Església continua contradient l'optimisme dels satisfets i el pessimisme dels inquiets; afirma la sobirania d'un sol Senyor sobre tots els poders de la terra; proclama la Veritat contra l'error i la mentida, la Justícia contra els egoismes i les cobdícies; l'Amor contra l'odi i la violència, i també, la confiança en Déu contra tots els descoratjaments.
